- 2 whole shallots sliced (about 1 cup)
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp chicken concentrate such as Better Than Bouillon, see notes
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 tbsp fig preserves (start with 2 tbsp and add more to taste)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preparing ingredients:
